Peter Pan

R.L. Allman’s Peter Pan: Short film/pilot for streaming series

I had the great pleasure to work with the talented Ronnie Allman to produce his latest project, a retelling of the story of Peter Pan. Not for kids, in this version, Peter is a motorcycle riding street artist and Tinkerbell is a drag queen, and San Francisco stands in as Neverland, among other fun twists.

R.L. Allman’s Peter Pan is an 8-part fairy tale thriller. Inspired by the gentrification of urban arts districts, Neverland represents the gritty reality of how corporations and capitalism can transform a city. R.L. Allman’s Peter Pan’s environment embodies the rebellion and chaos in The Warriors, the brash street-smarts of Drive, the brotherhood of Fight Club, the lust for power in Mr. Robot, and the unpredictable violence of youth in A Clockwork Orange. Dark, character-driven, and deeply relevant, R.L. Allman’s Peter Pan reimagines the classic tale with a blend of thrills and neon noir worthy of Christopher Nolan or Nicolas Winding Refn.
